
Pastor David Clair is the co-founder and senior pastor of Square One Ministries in Westminster, Colorado. With a heart for need-based evangelism and short-term missions, he has been involved in various outreach and ministry opportunities since 1989. Born and raised in Colorado, he met his wife Loua at Grace Chapel in Denver in 1991. They were married the following year and have four children.
He was ordained by Pastor Ron Simpkins, the founder of Grace Chapel, and served as youth pastor for 10 years, associate pastor for two years, and was then given the senior pastor role in 2008. Together, David and Loua launched Square One Ministries in January 2015. In addition to working as a bi-vocational pastor, he started and ran his own bookkeeping and office administration business for a couple of years, has been a member of the Continuous Improvement Leadership Team for a local business and serves on the board and conference planning committees for other local ministries. He also hosts an annual Men’s Advance that connects multiple churches across the Front Range of Colorado.
David has ministered in churches and conferences in the United States, Mexico, El Salvador, Haiti, Suriname, and Samoa. In Haiti, he established a school in 2010 with Pastor Willeur Fleury, with whom he oversees the seven churches of SODAH ministries. He is a worship drummer, has written and co-authored a number of songs, and has been involved with various bands and theatrical productions on a local level. He enjoys reading, hiking, and walking his dog. In 2020 he joined MFC Ministry Affiliates under the headship of Apostle Joe Perozich and Pastor Rena Perozich in Morgantown, West Virginia.
Pastor Loua Clair has served in ministry for over 20 years with most of those years at Grace Christian Center. She sang on the Worship team and volunteered in the Children’s Ministry. In 1996, she started and led a MOPS (Mother of Preschoolers) charter group for her church for a few years. She assisted her husband, David Clair who was youth pastor for ten years and when he was given the pastorate in December 2008. She is a Women’s Ministry leader that has taught Women’s Bible studies and hosts an annual women’s retreat for various churches, an event that has developed into a Women’s Conference in the last two years. In 2015, she and her husband relaunched their ministry as Square One Ministries. Their ministry officially came under the covering of MFC in January 2020.
She is a ghostwriter and editor of several books for notable Christian leaders. Additionally, she has been a school photographer for six and a half years, also working in jewelry sales for about three years until January of 2020.
Loua grew up in Samoa and moved to American Samoa, where she received an Associates of Arts Degree from the American Samoa Community College. She then moved to the United States to continue her schooling at Hanover College in Indiana, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communications. After graduating, she relocated to Denver, Colorado, where she met her husband, David Clair, at Grace Chapel. She worked for the Marilyn Hickey Ministries Prayer line in the summer of 1994 as a prayer warrior and then was the secretary for the Prayer Center until the end of October of 1995, when she left to have her first child. Her and Pastor David have been married for over 27 years and have four children together.
